Works with the files Minecraft saves your builds as — a .schem file, or a .nbt file from a structure block. If you're not sure what kind of file you have, just try it — the tool will tell you if it can't read it.

Here's a sneak peek of your build! Colors are just a rough guide — water, glass, and leaves are see-through, and any swapped blocks look just like they'll appear when you paste them.

2Get the WorldEdit mod

You'll need the WorldEdit mod to paste your build in. Get it from ContentDB (opens in a new tab) — or from inside Luanti: Content → Browse online content, then search “WorldEdit”. Then turn it on for your world: pick your world → Select Mods → check the box next to worldedit → save.

3Bring it into your world

Save converted.we into a folder called schems inside your world's own folder (make that folder if it's not there yet). Here's where to find your worlds:

Windows: C:\Users\<you>\AppData\Roaming\Luanti\worlds\<world>\schems\ (or worlds\ next to luanti.exe for the portable version)
Linux: ~/.minetest/worlds/<world>/schems/ · Flatpak: ~/.var/app/org.luanti.luanti/.minetest/worlds/<world>/schems/
macOS: ~/Library/Application Support/minetest/worlds/<world>/schems/

Open your world, stand at the spot where you want a corner of your build to appear, then type this in chat:

Chat command not working? Type /grantme worldedit first to give yourself permission (singleplayer), or ask whoever runs the server. Your build appears to the east, above, and south of where you're standing.

Want to spin it around first? (optional)

After it loads, you can rotate the whole thing — just stand on the same spot you loaded it from and type:

Use the same number both times (90, 180, 270, or -90). Skipping the second line means doors and stairs won't turn to face the new direction.

Heads up: Luanti and Minecraft measure "north" a little differently, so a wall that faced north in Minecraft will face south in Luanti. Don't worry — your build isn't flipped or mirrored, it just needs a compass update.

A few blocks might not have a perfect match in Mineclonia — when that happens, the tool swaps in the closest-looking block it can find (or plain stone if nothing's close), and lists every swap above so you know exactly what changed.
